This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

No Time to Cook is run by No Time to Cook Ltd., [BUSINESS ADDRESS] ("we", "us"). Chef Rob Bateman is responsible for how we handle personal information. Contact: [email protected] or WhatsApp +1 778-946-5547.

We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

We only collect health information you choose to give us, and only use it to run your program. You don't have to share it, but some parts of coaching (and the Money-Back Guarantee) depend on it.

2. How we use it

  • To prepare, label and deliver your meals, and run your cooking sessions and calls
  • To email you the next steps and a payment link after you submit your reset
  • To coach you, track your progress and check guarantee claims
  • To keep you safe around allergens
  • To answer your questions and send messages about your order and program
  • To send marketing, but only if you've agreed (see section 5)
  • To improve our menu, website and ads, using combined, non-identifying information where we can
  • To keep tax and accounting records and meet legal obligations

We don't sell your personal information.

3. Who we share it with

We share only what each provider needs to do its job for us. They're required to protect it and can't use it for their own purposes.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or with a buyer if our business is sold (they must keep this policy's protections).

4. Where it's stored

Some of our providers store information outside Canada, mainly in the United States. While it's there, it may be accessed by courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of that country under its laws.

5. Messages and marketing

  • When you submit your reset or place an order, we contact you by email, text and WhatsApp about that order and program.
  • We only send marketing (new menus, offers, new rounds) if you tick the box on our form or otherwise agree. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, by replying STOP to a text, or by messaging us.
  • We follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

6. Cookies, the Meta pixel and browser storage

  • Our website uses cookies and the Meta pixel to see which ads bring people to us and to show our ads to people who've visited. You can limit this in your browser settings and in your Meta and Google ad settings.
  • The reset builder saves your choices (plan and meal picks) in your own browser, so they're still there if you leave and come back. This stays on your device. Your name, email and phone aren't saved there. Clearing your browser data removes it.

7. How long we keep it

  • Client records, including health and progress information: for [2 years] after your last program, then deleted or anonymized.
  • Leads who never ordered: for up to [2 years] after we last heard from you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
  • Payment and tax records: 6 years, as tax law requires.

8. Keeping it safe

We limit access to the people and providers who need it, use accounts protected by strong passwords and two-step sign-in where available, and only print what the kitchen and drivers need. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we'll tell you and the relevant privacy regulator as the law requires.

9. Your rights

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct it
  • Withdraw consent, for example to marketing or to us holding your health information. If withdrawing consent means we can't run your program, we'll tell you what that means first.
  • Ask us to delete it, except what we have to keep by law

Email [email protected]. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).

10. Age

Our programs are for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we'll tell current clients by email.
